Description
We've just standardized SNMP community across our devices, and this required manually updating the SNMP string for each device in obs.
It would be really useful if there was a way of asking discovery to run and attempt re-auth of any device it can't access.
Thanks!
Specifically the intention here would be to implement some mechanism to test known snmp auth information against devices which are now being marked as down by snmp because they aren't responding with the existing auth.
This might be in poller.php directly, it might be poller.php setting a flag to queue a check in another process, or it might just be a script that can be run which will check reachability to all devices and do an auth-recheck on any devices it can't reach.
If done in poller.php or in another process it should not happen every poller cycle when the device is down. It would probably be best to allow poller.php to fail normally and set a flag in the database for recheck.
