    Description

Would be nice if Observium could discover the VLAN's for Extreme XOS switches - it discovers tham but adds them as interfaces rather than as VLAN's.

I suspect this is probably because Extreme are dicks and seem to really suck at SNMP - but apparently there is a MIB which gives the definitions for the VLAN table on XOS. (EXTREME-VLAN-MIB)

1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.2 is the Extreme vlan mib,
      1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.2.1.2.1.10 is the vlanid
      1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.2.1.2.1.2 is the vlan description

I can help out debugging if needs be - I just cant write code to save myself

[OBS-560] Fix Extreme XOS Vlan stuff

            Fixed in r9229.

Vlans actually get discovered just fine as long as the EXOS is new enough. At least with 16.1.3.6 I get the vlan tab in the device view.

I found this on an ExtremeNetworks Forum:

Starting in EXOS 12.5 there is support for VLAN statistics and for that there is a separate private SNMP table (extremePortVlanStatsTable)

As soon you have enabled VLAN statistics on a VLAN /port combination you can collect that using the following OID table:

            iso(1).org(3).dod(6).internet(1).private(4).enterprises(1).extreme(1916).extremeAgent(1).extremeVlan(2).extremeVlanStatsGroup(8).extremePortVlanStatsTable(2)

Id love this to be working in Observium, would solve alot of problems
