    Description

      Hi.

The Observium version is 23.9 but not listed above.

The automatic discovery of VMs don't work. I can't enable virtual-machine module for the esx device. The GUI interface is refreshed but the option stay on disabled.

But when I launch discovery.php  manually with -m virtual-machines option, the VM Tab appears with the list of VMs.

Thank you in advance for your help.

[OBS-4795] Automatic discovery and polled virtual machines on esx device don't work

Seems this issue actual only for CE 23.9, in Pro edition can not reproduce.
Will fixed in next CE release (or update to Pro)

Hello. I reinstall Observium from scratch and the problem is the same.

I can't enable virtual-machine module for the esx device. The GUI interface is refreshed but the option stay on disabled.

But when I launch discovery.php  manually with -m virtual-machines option, the VM Tab appears with the list of VMs.

My company plan to use the professional edition of Observium but if we can't monitor vSphere VM, it's annoying situation and Observium is useless.

May be in the professional edition, the issue is fixed but I need to be sure of that.

          Thank you in advance

          Regards

          Thierry
