Request to new devices from SmartOptics to OBS

Details

    Description

      Hi,

SmartOptics has released two new devices and kindly requesting your help adding the latest MIB to Observium.  I have attached the MIB files and description doc here.  Please let me know additional doc/info, document, device access etc required.

Since Observium currently supports SmartOptics MIBs for DCP-M40, DCP-2 and DCP-F, I am not sure if my choice for the "Issue type" is correct.

      Thank you.

      Solomon Arega

[OBS-4244] Request to new devices from SmartOptics to OBS

I see new MIB files, but exactly in added snmp dumps nothing to do with updated mib files.

As I see in added snmpdumps, we already support this devices and there is nothing new to add.

          Hi,

I have attached the full snmpwalk for the two devices - DCP-404 and DCP-R-9D ( I hope!).

The DCP-404 is a module that is used in a DCP-2 shelf that has two (2) slots.  The snmpwalk is generated while the module is inserted in the slot 1.  The DCP-2 shelf is already supported on Observium.

The DCP-R-9D is a self contained system,

Please let me know if you need more info or have questions.

          Thanks again for your help.

          Cheers!
