    Description

      Hi!

We updated our Observium around August 2019 to newest Revision and after that update we haven't received any "Battery Temperatures Alarms".

After investigating the issue, I believe the reason is that the sensor itself is missing in Observium for the Hardware "Eltek WebPower" with operating system Eltek 2.5.2

Here's a picture about the "Sensors" view for our Eltek-device, as we can see theres no BatteryTemperature sensor anymore:

Here we can see an email alarm from the same device for the battery temperature as a proof it definitely worked before the update:

Any ideas how to fix this? Or can we assume this to be fixed in the further Professional revisions?

[OBS-3178] Eltek WebPower missing battery temperature after update

Yea that seemed to be the problem. Upgraded to r10205, ran the discovery again and now I can see the BatteryTemperature again.

          Thanks a lot!

Hmh.. Getting an error when trying to switch. Is this perhaps a problem with our Observiums config?

Ahh, you use stable branch. Currently fixed in rolling/trunk.

You can switch (temporary) to rolling: Updating Stable -> Rolling

Attached the debug as .txt file (was too long for posting).

Please attach debug for discovery output:

          ./discovery.php -d -m sensors -h device

          I executed:

          [root@observium observium]# ./discovery.php -h kon-kes-smartpack

          No effect, still no sensor.

Then I went ahead and deleted the device and added it again, but still no effect, still no BatteryTemperature sensor:
