All temp and fan data from Dell server gone after update to 19.8.10000

    Description

After upgrading to 19.8.10000, fan speeds and temperature sensor readings are no longer being collected. Sensors were removed from the database along with all historical data.

This is of course not a disaster by any means at all. Researching the issue it appeared to have happened in the past (found it in this forum) and had been resolved.

Curious if there is a way to correct this.

Ok, probably I found why that happened.

Already been through all of that... and nothing resolved it. Nothing has changed on the server Observium is looking at... the only thing that has changed is the version of Ovbservium.

Apparently I have no choice but to roll back to an older version and just not update.

Ok, than this is not a bug, but trouble with net-snmp.

Please read FAQ question and clear indexes: https://docs.observium.org/faq/#all-my-hosts-seem-down-to-observium-snmp-doesnt-seem-to-work-anymore

Files attached... unfortunately I cannot run with the older version. I would need to reload to do so.

Also, each of the three commands outputs the following the console:

          Heh, really not should be...

Can you proved one of this:

          • snmp access to device (devel ip 77.222.50.30)
          • full snmpwalk from device:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

          • 2 debug discovery from new (and if possible from old install):

            ./discovery.php -d -h <device>
