Hi,
we are interested in a vendor specific feature for Extreme devices. Extreme devices are supporting ACL which an action handler which allows counting how many times this ACL has been triggered.
This is matched to the ifIndex as described in https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Solution/how-to-read-multiple-ACL-counters-via-SNMP
Our goal is to match specific kind of packets i.e. too many L2 Broadcast packets and then we want to create a alert rule in Observium if the threshold has been reached. This would also require adding those measured values as a possible alert entity.
It could be implemented in the view of device/device=id/tab=port/port=id/ below the Errors/Discards graphs and/or creating a new tab i.e. called "ACL(s)" in the device menu bar next to VLANs, Routing...
