    Description

When running the fdb-table module it seems to find mappings for upstream ports (single or port channel) but not downstream (end device). We tried various combinations of SNMPv2 and SNMPv3, IOS versions (12 and 15) and models (3750G, 3750X, 3850).

This problem seems to have started since last (2018) community release as we have lots of data populated from our previous manual poll on fdb-tables in our production instance running community edition. We haven't changed SNMP settings (v2) in prod. See old-poll and new-poll attachments. See snmp config attachment for (v3) stuff.

The example below shows where a downstream port should exist in red.

I included poller.php and discovery.php debug output for both lab (professional with SNMPv3) and production (community with SNMPv2).

Let me know if I can provide any additional information.

Looks like this was broken with (r8882) on (fdb-table.inc.php).

          /opt/observium/includes/polling/fdb-table.inc.php

I copied the file from (r8881) to newest version (r9611) and it restored functionality. See screenshots r8881 database and r8882 database
