    Description

      Dear Observium Team.

At the moment of adding a new device, Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition, unfortunately, Observium was not able to assign the real MIB to this device thus, Observium assigned a generic one. Is there any chance of Observium developers team include the MIB for this device? The Sophos UTM is already included, but that doesn't happen to Sophos XG Firewall.

      Thanks for attention and support

[OBS-2553] Adding Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition

            Support added in r10162.

Sent the snmp dump to your email. TIA

That because I still not get access to any XG device or as minimum snmp dump requested as written before:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

I see that the MIB is in my installation (19.8.10000) but my XG310 still comes up as an unknown device and is not using the correct MIBs it seems like. If any further information is needed please let me know

Can you provide temporary SNMP access to this devices?
(if possible, write privately to mike@observium.org, my devel IP: 77.222.50.30).

If access not possible, as minimum require full snmp dump:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

Same here, we have multiple Sophos XG appliances (Mostly XG330, XG310, XG230 and XG210) and we would like to monitor them.
Any development plans to support them?

            The full MIB file.

I also have 2 Sophos appliances running the XG Firewall software and would like to see this added.  I have a XG550 and a SG310.

            sysObjectID = .1.3.6.1.4.1.21067.2

sysDescr = There is no default value associated to sysDescr to the system, but there is a editable field in Sophos XG SNMP settings which is possible to include any value. I placed as an example "Linux 3.12.40-0.201737330.g7df7cae.rb1-smp64 #1 SMP Sat Jul 11 12:48:05 UTC 2015 x86_64" which is the default value detected by observium to Sophos UTM appliances.

What are sysDescr and sysObjectID for this device?
