    Description

      We have some Mitel application servers that are currently detected as unknown by Observium (with little "mouse?" logo). They're a different product line to the Mitel call servers that Observium already detects.

      They're essentially Linux servers, so all of the regular Linux items like memory, CPU, storage and networking applies from IF-MIB, IP-MIB, TCP-MIB, UDP-MIB, HOST-RESOURCES-MIB, UCD-SNMP-MIB and UCD-DISKIO-MIB).

      The device can be detected as a Mitel application server using:

      SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: MITEL-APPLICATION-PLATFORM-LIST-MIB::mitelIdAppPlatManagementApplicationServer

      It has a similar version string to the Mitel call servers that are already detected:

      SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: VerAg:05.05.54.00.01;VerHw:x86_64;VerSw:10.05.10.00.00

      The alarm tables are really the only other thing to capture (would be great to capture these similarly to the existing Mitel alm stuff).

      MITEL-APPCMN-MIB::mitelAppTblProductOid.10.1.3.6.1.4.1.1027.1.6.1 = OID: MITEL-APPLICATION-PLATFORM-LIST-MIB::mitelIdAppPlatManagementApplicationServer

          Please make and attach additional information about the device:

          • full snmp dump from device:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

            If device not support SNMP version 2c, replace -v2c with -v1.

          • If you have problems with discovery or poller processes, please do and attach these debugs:

            ./discovery.php -d -h <device>
            ./poller.php -d -h <device>

          • additionally attach device and/or vendor specific MIB files
