    Description

      Hello,
I have a few Huawei BGP routers which are not showing my BGP prefixes.
When I'm pooling devices I'm not seeing any  o Address Families in Module: bgp-peers
There is some difference with Cisco's devices.
Can you please suggest if can i fix this somehow or you need to make some improvements?

[OBS-2434] BGP Prefix count monitoring on Huawei

            Prefixes polling added in r10171.

They don't seem to have a per-AFI/SAFI MIB that actually works. HUAWEI-BGP-VPN-MIB seems like it should contain that data, but it doesn't seem to be implemented anywhere.

I'll close this ticket, please re-open it if you actually find this data existing on any devices.

This is probably because Huawei don't populate this data in any MIB we currently understand. Collecting it would require extending the BGP poller/discovery modules to understand the Huawei MIB (if it exists).

Per-AFI/SAFI data always comes from vendor-specific MIBs, since no one was smart enough to standardise this back in the day.
