    Description

Ubiquiti updated their MIB support on their APs to allow tracking of connected users. I would love to see this in Observium.

          [OBS-1990] Updated Unifi AP support

Interestingly the MIB seems to include a lot of data I've never seen on the device itself. Does anyone have any examples of these devices actually returning any of this data?

These things have near useless SNMP, they don't seem to report anything at all. Very sad!

          Hey Mike,

Any progress here on support for these APs? I've got 2 here at the moment, but besides the basic port information, nothing is being monitored...

          Thanks!

Mike you reported you didn't see any new data...? I looked for this comment here but its missing is this still the case for you that the new FW isn't reporting the users or any new data?

          @Mike,

I'm only following up like you asked. As of today the drivers and Mibs are official from Ubiquiti. Did you want me to open a new ticket of follow some other process?

          I use/test with AC-Pro.
When this firmware and mib support will released, than open new issue (or write here again).

Since we (I) not will do any experimental (beta) features, which can changed after release.

Currently this MIB has minimum one trouble: file named as "UBN*T*-UniFi-MIB", but MIB really has name "UBN-UniFi-MIB" (without "T").

          Mike,

What Unifi AP do you have, also do you have access to the beta forums?

If you don't have access here is the post UBNT-schmid made about the Gen 2 APs.

          Hi all,

I have a test firmware with improved SNMP MIB support. We added our own MIB to the already existing ones. This should provide significantly more information, especially about radio and BSS statistics. This is based on the upcoming 3.7.7 release, so should be pretty stable. Let us know if you find any issues!

The MIBs can be found here:

          http://dl.ubnt-ut.com/snmp/UBNT-UniFi-MIB

This firmware is only for gen2 devices (UAP-AC-Lite/AC-LR/AC-Pro/AC-EDU)

"Released MIB", is not equivalent to "released support for data".

I have Unifi devices, I updated unifi controller (to 5.x) and unifi firmwares to latest, but no any data added in unifi devices related to this MIBs.
