    Description

In the past there was a hack at the top of ./incldues/polling/aaplications/mysql.inc.php which would check if the mysql data would exist in the agent data array (currently still exists in the nginx file) and if not it will attempt to retrieve the data via snmp. This was removed in recent commits. This in turn broke all snmp compatibility with mysql. Until a cleaner method is implemented to manage snmp and unix-agent polling for existing applications, a simple fix can be implemented to fix this issue. Diff has been attached.

[OBS-145] SNMP polling broken for MYSQL application

Sorry I'm not registered with the mailing list and never read the svn commit logs. I guess I'll fork the repository and keep a synched patch repo for myself for these scenarios.

Thanks for the response and sorry for wasting you time _

It was mentioned in the svn comments and on the mailling list that from that svn version on some application script would be replaced and from x versions later the snmp support would completly be deleted for those scripts.

The documentation was correct as it was changed to the unix agent style instead of the snmp scripts.

          I see,

could you please update the documentation to reflect this.

Was quite confusing to update and suddenly not get statistics anymore.

There is a reason why this isn't there, mysql snmp script simply isn't supported anymore.
