This would be so useful for me as well. Something like this: https://canvasjs.com/javascript-charts/chart-zoom-pan/

Anyone willing and able to implement something similar? I am willing but not able to do it

It can be really good to add the possibility to zoom on a zone of a graph to look about part of that graph's closer detail. This feature exists in Cacti for a very long time and it really helps. Thanks.

Feel free to write and contribute this feature. I don't have the JS skills to do this.

This seems important. I find myself wasting precious time trying to pinpoint the From and To ranges manually via the inputs. This feature could be implemented by front end code only, having the mouse control those inputs. The code should somehow be aware of the current min/max boundaries of the presented chart in order to do the calculations of what to insert into those 2 fields.

Zooming in on graphs right now is very annoying.
