collect dBm dell powerconnect switches

Details

    Description

would be possible to collect the measurement in dBm dell powerconnect switches ? Today this feature is already available in observium in cisco routers .

in command line this command is:

      RS - BKB - GVR - 001 - SW- 001 # show ports Fiber - optical- transceiver

                                         Input output
Port Temp Voltage Current Power Power TX LOS
                [ C ] [ Volt ] [ mA ] [ dBm ] [ dBm ] Fault
      -----------------------------------------------
      1/g48 31.5 3,348 29.8 -4,711 -8,918 No No
      1/xg1 39.4 3,301 31.5 3,418 -19,508 No No
      1/xg2 47.6 3,277 37.3 1,838 -18,239 No No

Temp - Internally Measured temperatures transceiver .
Voltage - Internally Measured supply voltage .
Current - Measured TX bias current.
Output Power - Measured optical output power relative to 1mW .
Input Power - Measured optical power received relative to 1mW .
TX Fault - Transmitter fault .
LOS - Loss of signal .

Vendor doesn't expose this data in SNMP.

I have stacks of Powerconnect 6248P, they do not expose this through SNMP as far as I've seen, unfortunately

if you want I can provide access to equipment for testing

This is only possible if the sensors are exposed in SNMP. It's only likely to be added if one of the development team have access to a device with the sensors.
