    Description

We have a hardware partner RIKOM that manufactures multiple L2 and L3 Ethernet switches.
Currently, Observium does not detect RIKOM devices correctly and they are shown as "generic".

I am requesting vendor/OS support for RIKOM switches, starting with the S2400 series.

      Tested Device:

      • Model: RIKOM S2400-8S-4T-4X-AC
      • Device Type: L2/L3 Ethernet Switch
      • SNMP Version: v2c (also tested with v1)
      • Enterprise OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.61748

      sysDescr example:
S2400-8S-4T-4X-AC Sw Ver RESP V7.03.27, Hw Ver A.00

      sysObjectID:
      .1.3.6.1.4.1.61748.1.12600006

Observium currently detects the device as:

      • OS Type: generic
      • OS Group: unix

      SNMP Walk Notes:
While generating the full SNMP walk as requested, the device returns a GENERR
(general error) on certain vendor-specific OIDs under the RIKOM enterprise tree
(1.3.6.1.4.1.61748.*). Because of this, the snmpwalk command stops at those OIDs.

Despite this behavior, the attached SNMP walk output contains all accessible
standard and vendor-specific OIDs up to the point where the device returns the error.
This appears to be a device-side SNMP agent limitation rather than a client issue.

      Attached Information:
      1. SNMP walk output files generated using:
         - snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <device> .1
         - snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <device> .1.3.6.1.4.1
(with noted GENERR behavior on some OIDs)

      2. Vendor-provided RIKOM MIB files for the S2400 series.

      Note:
The attached MIB files are for the RIKOM S2400 series only. Other RIKOM L2/L3 switch
models are expected to share the same enterprise MIB structure and OID hierarchy.

Please let me know if partial SNMP walk output is sufficient or if any alternative
method of data collection is preferred.
