    Description

Would be awesome to have this added, or just some pointers in the right direction (what files to create, where to put them etc)

Or just get help with the beginning of the files, I'd gladly help writing in all id's and stuffs.

Also: LOVE your work, observium is awesome

No, because all those who will use it will have problems upgrading to new CE version.

Am I allowed to add a patch to this ticket that will make this sensor work for community-edition?

All MIBs already included, but all changes only in latest svn (Pro edition).
Patch not compatible with Community edition.

MIB isn't included in patch, was there a reason for it?

Tried it out and it didn't work, realised /opt/observium/mibs/hwgroup didn't exist. Created the folder, put the MIB there and magic happened
