Hi,
In a recent update to the HP definition (includes/definitions/os/hp.inc.php) in April, a new configuration line has been added to the iLO Managment section. The line in question is:
$config['os'][$os]['mibs'][] = "CPQSM2-MIB";
This addition is causing the discovery of the HP iLO managment system to report an incorrect speed on the network interface. It reports the speed as 1kbps which in return is causing our high traffic alerts to trigger for all our iLO devices. Disabling this config line stops this, however, it also stops the discovery and polling of the network interface.
Please see the attached which shows the Unicast Packets graph before the new update, with the update (when the alerts are triggered) and after when we have disable it.
