    Description

      Hi,
SONiC is growing and getting very popular as NOS platform.
It could be very awesome if you could add support for SONiC.

In our use case we are running DELL Interprice SONiC.
      SONiC version: SONiC.4.0.5-Enterprise_Base
      Hardware: DellEMC-S5232f-C32

I did run the following commands and attached the file to this case.
      snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
      snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

I have also attached the MIBS from Dell for the SONiC 4.0.5

Please write you need more information.

Not sure.. Ask vendor support SNMP Oids for PSU statuses.

          Awesome! that was fast!
Sad, that was one of the things I was hoping you could grather from the SNMP.
What information should i try to find, for you guys to implement the PSU state/status?

          Support added in r13335.

But there is very limited information in snmp.
          No any status/sensors for PSU.

          • full snmp dump from device:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -Ih -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

If device not support SNMP version 2c, replace -v2c with -v1.

          • If you have problems with discovery or poller processes, please do and attach these debugs:

            ./discovery.php -d -h <device>
            ./poller.php -d -h <device>

          • additionally attach device and/or vendor specific MIB files
