Need to Create EMail Alerts

      Hi, 

      This is Madhusudhanan From India. I have Subscribed to Professional Edition. 

      I have Installed Observium, Added a Switch.

      When the Switch Goes Down, mail Alerts are working. I have done the Mail Configuration.

      But Still the Mails alerts are triggered.

      Please do needful.

          This is probably because you’ve just modified every mail setting and expected it to work.

          we recommend not using SMTP transport, as it’s the #1 cause of mail not working.

          Normally to make email notifications work you only need to configure a “from” address for Observium, and a set up a working local MTA such as postfix.

          We can’t give you much help with making your own mail work.

          I have Installed Observium Server with Professional License.,

          I have Added a Switch via snmp.

          When the Switch Goes Down, mail Alerts are not working.

          I have done the Mail Configuration.

          But Still the Mails alerts are not working.

          It's not actually clear what the problem is, what is or isn't happening, or even what should or shouldn't happen.
