Please make snmpdump for this device as Bot written (I will check if there no ip information).

I understand that Cached IP can't be used in all cases.

I have some devices that does not support IP-MIB or any other form.

          /usr/bin/snmpbulkwalk -Cr'100' -t '1' -r '5' -v2c -c 'public' -Pud -OQUs -m IP-MIB -M /opt/observium/mibs/rfc:/opt/observium/mibs/net-snmp 'udp':'sw01.location':'161' ip
ip = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

I was think as a fallback if IP-MIB/ IP snmnp and DNS to resolve a useful IP, then use Cached IP.

It's not very a good opportunity, because same Cached IP can be on many devices (when used nat or tunneling or something).
Probably better to improve device support for fetch correct IP addresses, than make snmpdump as Bot requested.

What you mean.. associate syslog entries by cached IP?

Please make and attach additional information about the device:

          • full snmp dump from device:

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk
            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community> -t 3 -Cc --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1.3.6.1.4.1 >> myagent.snmpwalk

If device not support SNMP version 2c, replace -v2c with -v1.

          • If you have problems with discovery or poller processes, please do and attach these debugs:

            ./discovery.php -d -h <device>
            ./poller.php -d -h <device>

          • additionally attach device and/or vendor specific MIB files
