Endpoint API for searching after ip-addresses

For the application being developed, my company would like the ability to search for IP addresses to minimize the network load. This is currently not possible because neither the endpoint 

/api/v0/devices

 nor 

/api/v0/address

 offers the possibility to filter for IP addresses. See the attached screenshots.

Is there a possibility to implement the above requirement?
