    Description

Apologies if this has been covered!

I'm just setting up Obs to get visiblity of the network at my new post, and have been having to ignore a lot of ports. I thought a very useful feature might be if I had the option to automatically toggle port alerts based on the port description, e.g.

Always ignore if description matches "edge, printer, photocopier, data"

Always alert if description matches "trunk, uplink, channel, firewall".

Another rule I thought would be very handy was if you could always ensure that trunk links between switches were alert enabled - I've been comparing against the neighbour view when disabling alerts, but it's easy to miss one. Maybe an icon or some indicator in the alert toggle view to indicate neighbours on that port would be possible?

      Many thanks!
