    Description

      Support for retrieving and adding maintenance events via the API would be very useful.

      Currently I have manually expanded the API to allow me to pull maintenance events and use that data to push start/ stop notifications for maintenance to Slack, but an official API would be great.

          can you show the code you've used? 

          I'm looking at extending the maintenance system to allow recurring events, so i might add api support as part of that, or after it.
