    Description

      I modified the code to discover not only the Rittal CMC III Processing Unit Sensors but also the connected CAN Bus Devices.

      You can connect many Access and Sensor Devices via CAN Bus to the Processing Unit, but they were not display by Observium.

      With the attached Patch you will be able to see the sensor for each Device.

       

       

      Hope nothing is broken with this.. but if you want to verify - i attached a snmpwalk of such device.

          Note, code parts was changed.
          And status "cmcIIISetBeeper" excluded, while this is not status, but SET oid.

          I added the file rittal-cmc-iii-can-devices-rev10975.patch because there were some changes between 10964 and 10975 and the patch file had to be customized.

          I made another change and updated the .patch-file. Humidity is now also recognized.

            snmpwalk -v2c -c <community>  --hexOutputLength=0 -ObentxU <hostname> .1 > myagent.snmpwalk

            If device not support SNMP version 2c, replace -v2c with -v1.

          • If you have problems with discovery or poller processes, please do and attach these debugs: 

            ./discovery.php -d -h <device>
            		 
            ./poller.php -d -h <device>

          • additionally attach device and/or vendor specific MIB files
