Create alert based on eventlogs, similar to syslog alert/rules

Hi.

Would it be possible to add rules + alerting for eventlog events as well?

Similar to the syslog rule/alert.

In my example, I have a radio with IP connectivity on IDU. Either cable between IDU and ODU is damaged, or the ODU has failed, I would like to create some alert based on the fact that some spesific inventory went missing from the IDU.

I have not enabled syslog from these devices, and to be honest, not sure if I've ever going to...

That would be a nice improvement for simple, but tailored monitoring of such events.
