    Description

We've just started monitoring a bunch of new wireless access points. Observium correctly picks up their apr0 and apr1 interfaces, with an ifType of "ieee80211", i.e. the wireless radios.

On the Observium overview page/dashboard, it's started flagging up all of the apr* interfaces as having errors. While this is correct, it's not very useful because a wireless interface is almost always going to have some low level of interface errors.

Is there a way to ignore these interfaces for alerting in bulk?

I can modify the device ports page for each device, but that's a slow process for a large number of devices. If no such facility exist, please improve the alerting or dashboard. One idea I've considered is having an "ignore interface type X for port errors on the dashboard" config option, or "ignore alerts for all ports of type X" option.

Similar issue but not resolved for OBS-4040

This is now fixed in the "dashboard" version of the table and boxes.

Note that not all of the wifi interfaces on my dev install were of the 80211 type, so this may not always work.
