Description
The neighbors identified on the ports of our Cisco 4500-X switches are being placed on the wrong ports by Observium. Devices identified by CDP are correct. The LLDP neighbors are being placed on the port with the index one less than the port where the neighbor is actually connected. A neighbor identified by both LLDP and CDP appears as a neighbor on two different ports. For example is a neighbor that is connected on port Te1/15 is reported on port Te1/14 by Observium.
The placement of neighbors by LLDP appears to be correct on the Brocade devices.
