Please improve support for Cisco UCS C-Series Servers

    Description

      It would be great if you could improve the existing support for Cisco UCS C-Series Servers. It has been added here: http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-864
      I need the status of the power supplies, HDDs and Fans if possible. I have attached some poller files I found on the solarwinds forum. These should include all necessary OIDs.

      I have for example tested it with the Power Supplies. OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.56.1.7.1" changes from 1 to 5 if I unplug the power.

          You are right, the server I gave you access to is only using Flash memory. The additional statuses work fine on this device, thanks!

           

          I can give you access to a server with installed HDDs tomorrow. I will contact you directly via E-Mail.

          exactly this HDD statuses not supported in your device.

          But I added additional statuses for Flex Flash storage in r8492.
          (warning also fixed).

          Thank you Mike. Power Supplies and Fans are working perfectly, but local HDD Status is still missing. Could you please add this as well? I think the necessary infomation should be in the second attached file "UCS_Disk_Drives.UnDP"

          I also noticed a warning during discovery and polling: "o CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-COMPUTE-MIB cucsComputeRackUnitOperState [Warning, status type name "monitorAlarmSignalContact" for MIB "SNR-ERD-2" also exist in MIB "SNR-SWITCH-MIB". Type name MUST be unique!"
