Current revisions never changes

I've been following the updating instructions for community edition for a bit. Seems as though at the end when I run this command that the current revision never changes. It always says 6000.
/opt/observium/discovery.php -h none

So right now, I ran it again and it says current is 6000 and new is 6682. The current revision will never change and the gui reflects this too. Any idea?
