Can't get any applciation monitoring to work

I wish to monitor bind/mysql/hddtemp on different devices.

I do install xinet.d on the device, manage to configure it, also put the proper file in /usr/bin/observium-agent and the script files in the /local/ dir.

All the scripts are chmod +x and work if executed.

I can also telnet from my observium device to the polled device without any problem.

And still no data in observium.

Any clue ?
