    Description

I have a switch port that is linking in half-duplex mode instead of full-duplex.
This is due to a physical issue — a damaged socket in the patch panel.

I couldn't find any option in the web interface to filter ports that are operating in half-duplex mode.

When managing several thousand RJ-45 ports, the ability to filter and identify such half-duplex connections is crucial for detecting faulty or miswired ports.

I've added ifDuplex to the port query builder (you can use /ifDuplex=HalfDuplex to search for these ports on pages using the port table.

I've also added a duplex option to the global /ports/ page.

It exists from r14215 in rolling/trunk. it'll be in stable at some point in the future.

You can use being in 10/100 speeds as a proxy for this. You can't have half duplex at gigabit or higher speeds, so if you look for ports at 10/100, you'll find most of the half duplex things.

I'll also look at adding the ability to select duplex type, though I think devices aren't generally consistent on reporting duplex status.

It's not there at the moment because we've run out of space on the port filters bar, I think we need to add a third row!
