How do i change the device icons on the network map?

    Description

      Hi Guys,

       

      Is it possible to change the icons presented on the network maps to the correct device icons?

      Currently all devices are represented with router icons.  In the below screenshots there are Cisco switches and Ruckus APs.  Can I change those to switch and wireless access point icons?

          The maps are sort of a perpetual work in progress. We haven't found a good set of icons to use, so we just used the router icon as a placeholder.

          I can look at trying to auto-set a few others based on the device type, but this particular map variant is actually contributed, and not directly created by us. 

          I'm not sure if the author is intending to add different icons.

          Hi

          i don't think an SNMP-walk is required in this instance
          something to perhaps note is the icon field in device is 'null' in all devices for all device types
