JunOS polling time very slow

Devices running Juniper JunOS 13 are painfully slow to poll compared to cisco devices with many more interfaces. Typically they are taking at least 5 minutes to poll.

The Juniper devices that are taking a long time are stacked and have ~200 ports the ciscos are also stacked and have 700+ ports but the polling times are vastly different. Is there any tuning that can be done to increase the Juniper performance?
